Extreme Components is pleased to present the new GP clip-on handlebars specifically developed for Yamaha R6 Supersport and can also be used on all bikes equipped with forks whose sheath measures 50 mm, by making the necessary modifications to the original upper plate.
For this reason, installation must only be carried out by competent personnel with experience in the racing sector.
Entirely machined from solid (both bracelets and tubes) through 3D machining, our handlebars are born from the experience gained in the WSBK and SSP600 world championships thanks to the collaboration with the best teams.
As always, they are made with our exclusive system that has characterized all our handlebars for well over 12 years, i.e. the possibility of varying the inclination from 6° to 10° just by unscrewing a screw and without any modification.
The GP model features a 15mm offset.
Compared to the basic model (SEMI GP 50) they differ in the presence of a slot that allows them to be fixed to the upper steering plate in the lower part.
This makes it possible to replace the forks while maintaining the previously stable position of the semi-handlebars unchanged, as well as avoiding rotation of the same in the event of loosening of the bolts or excessive wear of the fork sleeve.
To install them on the Yamaha R6 it is necessary to remove the key block and remove the part of its supports (the lower part of the plate which interferes with the fixing slot).
For installation in other motorcycle models, in addition to removing any material that always interferes with the fixing point, it is also necessary to make the two through holes on the plate (already present on the Yamaha R6).
Finished through polished hard anodic oxidation, they are equipped with indelible laser engravings with logo and graduated scale relating to the variable inclination.
