Öhlins offers the possibility of updating the Ducati Multistrada 1200S already equipped with Öhlins suspension, with a new control unit called "SCU" (Suspension Control Unit).

This new control unit takes the original installation suspensions to a new level, making them Semi-Active and including an adjustment range equal to twice the original.

With this new control unit, the performance of the electronic suspensions can further improve.

The new SCU gives the already high-performance original suspension even more comfort, grip and agility.

The new algorithms, with which it has been programmed, analyze the rider's driving style, speed, acceleration, and various bike parameters and this allows it to adapt the suspension settings to the rider's needs, always guaranteeing safety and stability.

The rider can still choose between the different riding styles on the Ducati display (SPORT - TOURING - URBAN - ENDURO).

Within these different modes, the SCU monitors what is happening in the ride and adjusts the hydraulics if it feels the rider benefits. These changes take place throughout your journey and thus result in continuous driving pleasure.

It goes without saying that the pilot can still establish fixed settings as he did before.

The big difference is that these settings are now doubled and can be decided directly by Multistrada users.

Assembly is simple and takes just a few minutes. The standard ECU placed under the seat simply needs to be disconnected and connects in the same position, the new one.

With a simple detach – attach, the bike has new semi-active suspension.
