Arai's quintessential jet upgrades to VAS.

The shell therefore adapts to the new shape, also gaining in rigidity, resistance and lightness.

The visor mechanism lowers by approximately 14 mm making the PB-cLc shell even more rounded in the temple area, maximizing the helmet's ability to deflect energy.

The inner shell is made of EPS with different densities in a single piece (Arai world exclusive) maximizing the absorption capacity of the helmet.

SZ-V has also been designed to comfortably house a communication system on the outer shell (and the relative earphones inside the cheek pads, complete with a repositionable support to adapt to the different heights of the ears of each) without thinning the shell thickness unnecessarily internal.

Ventilation relies on the two Brow Vents integrated into the visor which feed the ducts carrying the air to the two rear extractors without weakening the shell with air intakes in unnecessary areas. The air intakes on the upper part maximize the incoming air flow without generating annoying noise or turbulence, forcing fresh air inside the helmet, while the pair of rear extractors creates a depression in the rear part of the shell, extracting the warm air from inside the helmet.

The cheek pads are removable, washable and customizable. All interiors (even if not removable) can be washed with warm water and neutral soap and dried away from direct heat sources.

The top stays in place, but the side padding (crown of the head) is removable and can be conveniently washed.

VAS (Variable Axis System) transparent visor with a completely new mechanism that simplifies the assembly and removal of the visor.

Inner padding completely removable and washable.

They are antibacterial, soft to the touch and very comfortable.

They have a specific space to mount the speakers of an intercom.

The interior allows for a personalized fit thanks to the "Peel Away" system, removable 5mm thick pads located in the temple area.

Double ring closure system.
