We set to work as soon as we could develop a system that would not only perform better than the stock one, but one that would make the new 450s more controllable and more connected.

Days of dyno and trail testing got our new RS-12 Signature Series exactly where we wanted it.

Plenty of banging for these two 450cc European machines.

Worried about weight? tipping the scales at 3.6kg, this new RS-12 is light!

This new system is the first Yoshimura production motocross exhaust to incorporate a resonator on the header and in the muffler.

This new header resonator unlocks bottom and mid-range power to not only make the new Austrian bikes more powerful, but provides greater connectivity to the rider.

Aggressively and intelligently designed, the RS-12 asymmetrically shaped muffler maximizes capacity and incorporates a resonance chamber for sound management and increased usable power.

The RS-12's unique profile also provides more tire and brake caliper clearance.


Adding 5.9% more peak HP and 6.9% more peak torque, this RS-12 has all the makings of what can lead to many podium finishes.

Header resonator tuned for improved power characteristics and enhanced sound

Just like the works systems our Factory Racers use, the RS-12 systems use precision machined joints.

Machined joints provide a superior and precise fit for joints by better sealing between two surfaces with perfect 360 degree contact surface resulting in improved system life, fit and performance

New, patent-pending Precision Taper Fit (PTF) insert ring simplifies installation and removal of acoustic inserts and spark arrestors

The streamlined muffler body inlet design of the RS-12 allows the system to be pushed forward thus aiding in weight centralization without sacrificing performance
