The ECH pressurized cartridge contains a series of innovative systems such as: FPS, EC and LC.

These systems are the result of a long development experience by our R&D department in collaboration with some of the best teams that have participated in the world championship SBK, British Superbike, IDM, Italian Speed ​​Championship.

LC = Light Components this product has a high percentage of special light alloys, which significantly reduce the weight of the previous YCE.

FPS = Full Pressure System is an acronym that embodies the maximum expression of effectiveness and rationality of this patented system.

This innovative damping system has been created to have immediate control of the oscillations of the fork while avoiding any phenomenon of cavitation in the internal fluid.

The system is pressurized with low pressure gas.

The cartridges are asymmetrical: one controls the compression phase, while the other controls the extension phase.

By placing the compensation chambers alternated at both ends, a very high damping coefficient can be obtained already from a very low speed.

On the top cap there are all the adjustments: hydraulic spring preload, rebound and compression are distinguished in the two cartridges, simple and intuitive.

The adjustments of BITUBO ECH, thanks to the possibilities offered by FPS, make it possible to obtain both higher and lower damping curves compared to the standard fork hydraulics, in particular at very low speeds.

EC = Easy Changer is the quick spring change system and the new cartridge disassembly system, without having to remove the fork from the bike.

This system makes it quick for the technicians on the track to change the hydraulic calibration.

You only need to change one cartridge by compression or extension.

The high damping coefficient already from very low speed controls the excessive sinking of the front axle in the very first moments of braking.

OBJECTIVE: To provide the rider with maximum front axle stability by perfectly controlling the descent speed even in the most violent braking; increased grip when entering and cornering thanks to the immediate hydraulic control; uniform wear of the rubber thanks to the instantaneous control of the applied forces.

This gives the driver maximum support when braking even at extreme lean angles.
