Specifically developed for road racing, track use and sporty road riding, the FIM-approved Tech-Air® 7x system is Alpinestars’ latest airbag system, built on MotoGP-proven technology.

Fully self-contained, it protects the shoulders, chest, back and coccyx and is an aerodynamic and ventilated product.

Designed to be used alone or integrated with Tech-Air® compatible suits and jackets, the Tech-Air® 7x is suitable for closed-course racing, road and light off-road riding.

With 12 integrated sensors and an AI-based impact detection system, the system activates the airbag in just 44 ms, reducing the force of an impact by up to 90% compared to CE Level 1 passive back protectors.

Composition:

Integrated LED display shows system status, battery and inflation count.

The system can be connected to the LED display on the left arm of Alpinestars Tech-Air® compatible suits or jackets or to the new Tech-Air® 7x System wired LED display available as an accessory for use with the new generation of Tech-Air® 7x compatible garments featuring a dedicated pocket for the LED display and cable channeling.

USB-C charging port accessible while worn.

The ECU is housed within a rugged shell. The vest and components are certified to operate in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 50°C.

Ventilated chassis with airflow channels and ribbed lining.

Strategic stretch zones for a race-ready fit.

Automatic deflation valve activates upon activation.

Airbag, electronics and inflators are removable for maintenance.

Bluetooth sync with the Tech-Air® app for system operating status, updates, battery status and MyRide trip information, easily accessible from a mobile device.

Fully FIM approved and certified as Category II PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) according to European Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

- Extended back protection that also covers the coccyx.
