Originally conceived in Moto2 but now adopted by almost all the motorcycle bodies of the world (ACU, MSVR, FIM, AMA) and required for the races, the 'lever guard' has been developed to help avoid accidental insertion of the brake/front clutch lever during the close wheel rides (either for accidental contact with another bike or even with a pilot) but can also be applied to the driving on the road, protecting the lever/and from the blows of the espejos de visión trasera durante el filtrado; Una vez más, causando la inserción del freno/embrague.
