TSS has created a range of complete clutch components and groups. With the anti-hopping unit, a clear improvement in braking behavior is obtained. The principle has been successfully adopted on Ducati and Japanese on-road and off-road motorcycles. The result is a wide range of units that are effective, light and easy to assemble. As regards the possibility of adjusting the device by the customer, separate "plates" are supplied for the TSS units which allow you to choose the preload level of the pressure plate springs. These groups are supplied without clutch plates. They are designed to be able to use the original discs. Alternatively we can supply Surflex clutch plates.

"But why mount a TSS slipper clutch where a similar stock device is already present?"

Reply:

The standard slipper clutch performs well in road use, but in track-competitive use a specific group is required, to compensate with greater reactivity the effects of extreme braking, fast downshifts, higher cornering speed, and any engine modifications, such as increased compression. A more effective slipper action, faster response and less abrupt re-engagement are therefore required. The TSS clutch has less steep ramps and smooth operation. Thanks to the possibility of choosing the number of secondary springs or the design of the spring retention cups, the rider can adjust the operation of the group in detail to better suit his own driving style and track conditions. Furthermore, the weight advantage is considerable, with rotary energy savings and gyroscopic effect, with the effect of a better response of the motor. The group is made of Ergal 7075.
