More power for the T-Max

High-performance engines require an adequate and constant fuel supply.

Increasing the performance of the Yamaha T-Max, drawing on the extensive Malossi catalog,
made it essential to create a specific throttle body capable of delivering performance unheard of for the standard unit.

Made of Ergal 7975-T6 and anodized black, the MHR throttle body was specifically designed to achieve maximum performance in combination with the Double PowerCam,
providing the right amount of intake for the engine in this configuration.

The internal diameter of the throttle body is expanded to 37 mm, while its length remains identical to the original,
so that it can be easily accommodated in its standard position between the cylinder head and airbox.

Its internal ducts are cylindrical near the intake ducts, gradually becoming oval near the manifolds.

Thanks to this change in internal shape, fresh gases are pushed with greater energy into the cylinder head, which, with its two intake valves, requires significant width.

This is provided by the oval cross-section, which extends to the end of the manifold.

The specific horns for the MHR throttle body are calculated and optimized to maximize the performance of the bodies' oval cross-sections, taking advantage of the perfect harmonization of the entire duct.

The throttle body reuses the original ride-by-wire throttle control system.

It is recommended to pair it with the FM3 control unit (item 5519341), which contains a dedicated map for this throttle body and the Double Power Cam (item 5919140).
