The perimeter work carried out on the forged rims allows for weight optimization, significantly reducing the moments of inertia compared to the previous version.

The intersection of the spokes, their number and the load-bearing section have been studied to obtain the best compromise between rigidity and driving sensation.

The wheels are tubeless, maintenance-free and interchangeable with the originals.

The carbon inner side coating increases the rigidity of the rim, giving the wheel a very technical and extreme aesthetic.

The aluminum core gives toughness to the rim, making it perfectly usable in complete safety on any road route.

Jonich wheels can be customized without limits

JoNich wheels have hubs machined from solid by choice. Among the many alloys available, we have validated the 6082-T6 alloy. Although there are alloys with superior mechanical characteristics (see the 7075-T6 alloy), the 6082-T6 alloy has surpassed all the others, for its intrinsic requirements, such as percentage elongation, reduction of problems in coupling with more noble materials (stress corrosion phenomenon) and anodization.

The choice to work the hubs with CNC starting from solid, is determined by the fact of being able to adapt the shapes to the increasingly recurring aesthetic needs of customization. In our machine park, the 5 axes work continuously for a single goal: to materialize dreams.

The rims are fluo-formed from 6082-T6 alloy sheet, without welding, and entirely turned after heat treatment (T6). Obviously the continuity of the fibers (not interrupted by the typical joint), the absence of inhomogeneity (due to the typical welding) and the perfect roundness, make it a product of excellence. We would like to draw attention to the fact that the rims are also completely made in Italy.

Lastly, the spokes are exclusively in austenitic stainless steel. The material is deliberately hardened by the wire drawing in order to increase its mechanical characteristics, while the rolled thread guarantees maximum tenacity. These tie rods are available with a silver or black finish. But it is not excluded that other colors may be available.

Optional choice:

EOLIC (rear wheel only)

The cover anchored on the outside of the wheel generates significant aerodynamic continuity. The cover is made of carbon, the bracelets are made of composite material, while the screws are made of titanium Gr 5 6Al4V.

Titanium spokes

It is possible to reduce the weight of the spokes by 42% by using Titanium spokes. The weight reduction is significant, because it affects a medium peripheral area, improving the reactivity of the vehicle, especially in sudden changes of direction. Due to the different nature of the material, the wheel will be less rigid and more comfortable, increasing the driving feeling and the reactivity of the vehicle.

Rim and hub color

The hubs and rims are protected by anodizing. The basic configuration includes the color black. However, it is possible to choose between different colors, such as RED.

Spoke color

The spokes are made of austenitic stainless steel or Titanium Gr5 6Al4V. The natural color of INOX is very warm, silver tending to yellow thanks to the strong presence of nickel, while titanium tends to manifest itself with a tendency to gray, very technical and racing. There are those who love them like this and those who instead want to choose between some colors, generally to embellish the wheel with some spokes of a different color. It is possible to choose between the color black (obtained through black chrome plating) or RED through painting.
